A friend of mine who I now owe at least an hour of "unusual attitude" flying in the RV when it is complete came over tonight and helped me finish the left top skin. Took us about 90 minutes nailing every other rivet that was remaining. The Rivets were already in place though with post-its, so we just hammered it out. He shot while I bucked. Turned out well, and now I just have to finish squeezing the rivets on the rear spar. Also, all up I will have to drill out about 4-5 rivets on this top skin.. Not bad, then onto more fun stuff...Thursday, March 4, 2010
Top Skins - Looking Smooth!
